The Chorus, which offers a mixed repertoire of theater, folk, and classical music, is seeking choral singers. The group performs two free annual concerts on the Kingsborough College Campus in December and May, with rehearsals on Thursday evenings. With a little bit of magic and a lot of imagination, Dot and Laia begin a journey across music and colors, turning a simple wall into the perfect setting to make their dreams come true. Presented by Godlight Theatre Company this award winning play is the drama set in 1962 on a hot steamy night when the local police arrest a black stranger named Virgil Tibbs. The police discover that their prime suspect is in fact a homicide detective from California. Tibbs becomes the racially-tense community’s single hope in solving a brutal murder that is turning up no witnesses, no motives, and no clues. 8 pm.
