Unwanted guests

Two alleged thieves were arrested on Nov. 5 after they forced their way into a Paerdegat 15th Street home and held up the man inside.

Police said the thieves, 31 and 18 — who the victim knew — entered the home between Paerdegat Avenue North and East 80th Street at about 9:30 am, surprising their victim.

The thugs threatened the homeowner with a box cutter before running off with $740, a pair of sneakers, and a pair of Prada shoes.

Cops caught up with the thieves a short time later, finding the cash and stolen footwear inside the trunk of the thieves’s Hyundai.
