Hennessy hound

A violent boozehound strangled a liquor store clerk on Washington Avenue on Sept. 24.

The owner of Love Liquors and Wine near Lincoln Place told cops that a thug strolled into the shop at 8 pm and stuffed a bottle of Hennessy Cognac into a brown bag. The clerk then confronted the man — but instead of offering an explanation, the crook choked him with both hands.

Cops arrested a 31-year-old suspect the same night.
