Elena Solitario, College of Staten Island Class of ’82 and owner of Pilo Arts Day Spa & Salon, is inviting all CSI alumni to Pilo Arts’ Third Annual “Spring Into Beauty” event from 6:30-8:30 p.m., May 5 at the day spa and salon, 8412 Third Avenue in Bay Ridge.
The annual evening features pampering, light fare/refreshments and the latest beauty information, while you mingle and network with other CSI alumni and friends.
Participants will receive paraffin hand treatments, and the latest make-up colors and spring looks demonstrated. There will also be cut, color and hairstyle consultation, scalp and hair analysis, and advanced skin and hair care for all ages, with consultants from renowned companies Dermalogica and Eufora & Nixon.
David Biro, MD, dermatologist, and one of New York Magazine’s “Best Doctors in New York,” will be the day’s special guest, and will present information to participants on the latest facial treatments and cosmetic procedures, and he will perform a demonstration on facial fillers, such as Restylane and Perlane.
Pilo Arts has donated gift certificates valued at $50 in services for each of the guests. There will also be a grand prize, which includes a three-night/four-day, all-inclusive stay for two at Conde Naste, recently named “The Body Holiday at LeSport,” on the island of St. Lucia.
