Cops eye July 4 - Clampdown on illegal fireworks begins now

Brooklyn cops are getting an early start on fireworks enforcement.

At the April meeting of the 68th Precinct Commu-nity Council, which was held at the stationhouse, 333 65th Street, Captain Jeffrey Schiff, the pre-cinct’s executive officer, announced that the precinct was gearing up for a citywide anti-fireworks effort
