Grimebusters polished up on the elbow grease and joined forces to spruce up a local emerald empire.
Armed with brooms, trash bags and plenty of cheer, members of the Dyker Beach Dog Owners Group enlisted the help of community residents and made short work of the litter and other debris marring the green, 7th Avenue and 86th Street.
The clean-up was part of a local day of beautification organized in conjunction with the Parks Department and the adjacent golf course.
