The best tunes from the Broadway stage will be heard at Regina Opera’s upcoming “Swing Along Broadway” concert, presented at 3 p.m., May 6 at Regina Hall, 65th Street and 12th Avenue, Brooklyn.
Featured are Regina Opera’s solo artists Phyllis Falletta and Wendy Baker, sopranos; Elizabeth Mondragon, mezzo-soprano; Mario Castro, tenor and baritone Bill Safka.
They will sing selections from Broadway classics such as “Porgy and Bess,” “Carousel,” “My Fair Lady,” “The New Moon,” and contemporary show tunes. They will be accompanied by pianist Victoria Ulanovskaya and flutist Richard Paratley.
