Today’s news:

Rockin’ for our troops

On behalf of The USO of Metropolitan, NY, the US Marines Children Scholarship Fund, & Operation Gratitude, I would like to thank all of you who came and supported our recent ‘Rockin’ for Our Troops’ event.

Without you, it doesn’t happen! Thank you, all of you, for the extra donations and to those who bid on the Greenhouse Cafe gift certificates, especially! A special thank you to the management of Greenhouse Café, who not only donated $100 worth of gift certificates but went out of their way to get this event advertised in local papers! They are a class operation and deserved of our patronage not only for their great food but their commitment to keep live entertainment going in Bay Ridge!

Thank you to all who donated equipment, their time, and their talents for again, this could not happen without you! And those fabulous Liberty Bells and Stacy Wells for having them appear for us!

We are strongly considering another one before summers end so keep an eye on your local papers or on my bands web site, www.ourbackpagesband.com for information on any future events, or our bands upcoming jobs!
