The Wang Dang Doodle will present “A Spazz Rock & Roll Dance Party,” July 11, with special guest DJ Dave the Spazz of WFMU and his swingin’ pals Bob Shannon of WCBS-FM and The Empress of The Empire State Soul Club.

This event is at The Ottoman Lounge, 318 Grand Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and is hosted by Phast Phreddie the Boogaloo Omnibus. Garage rock, soul, R&B and rock & roll records will be played for your drinking pleasure. Dave’s guests will be Bob Shannon and The Empress of Soul.

There is no cover charge; the action starts at 10 p.m. and runs to 4 a.m.

The Wang Dang Doodle is a dance party that features all sorts of vintage reet music: rockabilly, doo wop, soul, funk, reggae, ska, mambo, slop, R&B, surf, twist, sixties go-go and garage rock.
