Summer fiesta on East 38th Street

It was a fun-filled fiesta…

Basketball swishes and stylish sombreros were on the agenda recently as residents of East 38th Street between Avenue P and Quentin Road kicked back and celebrated their annual block party.

If they were not seen riding their bikes up and down the street, neighborhood kids could be found playing basketball or keeping cool under an invigorating water sprinkler – making it a block party for the record books.
