It’s a piece of art that has all of the neighborhood’s fingerprints on it.
That’s how artists describe the results of the Ground Swell Community Mural Project that was unveiled to the delight of many residents at the corner of West 27th Street and Mermaid Avenue recently.
The colorful mural, which can be found on the side of the VIM store, depicts several aspect of Coney Island, from the boardwalk to neighborhood hoop courts.
