West 23rd Street caps off summer of 2008

Coney Island residents squeezed every last drop of summertime pleasure they could out of a fun-filled block party on West 23rd Street between Surf and Mermaid avenues recently.

The block was filled with smiling faces as children enjoyed rides, activities and arts and crafts and adults basked in the warmth of their neighbors and friends.
