The Kings Bay YM-YWHA will hold its “Annual Chanukah Celebration,” December 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Y’s facility at 3495 Nostrand Avenue between Avenues U and V. The entire day will be filled with festivities for all ages, including the “Chanukah Extravaganza” for children of all ages and a special party for 250 Holocaust survivors.
The “Chanukah Celebration” will feature a number of exiting events and activities for the entire family. Children can bounce on carnival rides, play games, make arts & crafts, win prizes, eat latkes, receive gifts and menorahs, and enjoy delicious food, music and fun for the whole family.
The Kings Bay Y will also present its myriad of programs at a mini open house and offer exclusive discounts.
The party for Holocaust survivors will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the auditorium and attendees will enjoy music and dance performances in celebration of the holiday.
