Registration for the 69th Precinct Community Council’s 2009 baseball season, now in session, is open to boys and girls, ages five to 14 years of age (birth certificate is required).
Registration dates are every Monday and Wednesday, now to May 27, from 6−8 p.m. at the 69th Precinct, 9720 Foster Avenue, and the Hebrew Educational Society (HES), East 95th Street and Seaview avenue.
The registration fee is $60 per child; $25 is refunded with the sale of raffle tickets.
Volunteers are needed to manage and coach teams, which are divided as such: Clinic, for ages five and six; Farm, for ages seven through nine; and Minors, for ages 10 through 14.
Games are played July 7 through August 27 at 5:30 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays at Canarsie Park on Seaview Avenue.
