Modern Israeli politics through a rabbinical prism

Americans for a Safe Israel presents a lecture by Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum on “Israel and the Nations: Understanding Prophecy and the Redemption Process” at 7:30 p.m., June 3 at Congregation B’nai Jacob, 401 Ninth Street between Sixth & Seventh avenues in Park Slope.

Rabbi Greenbaum, through careful analysis of relevant Biblical texts and rabbinic teachings, offers unique insights into the meaning of contemporary political, social and cultural developments in Israel and throughout the world.

He will discuss “Islam vs. the West,” “Lineup of the nations: America, Europe, Saudi Arabia... Russia, Iran, Syria, Turkey...The China Factor,” “The UN vs. Israel,” “Globalism,” “Surprising Convergence: Meah She’arim and the ‘Hilltop’ Youth; the Settlers & the Teshuva movement,” and “Stirring Souls Among the Nations: Ex−Christians, Returning Marranos, the Ten Lost Tribes.”

Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum is an internationally−known Torah teacher and author of more than 25 books on Kabbalah, Chassidut, healthcare, healing and environmental responsibility.
