Troop 469 salutes stalwarts of the community

Williamsburg’s own Troop 469, the oft−declared future leaders of North Brooklyn, honored several current leaders of the community at their annual dinner and awards ceremony last Thursday at the Brooklyn Brewery.

Frank Carbone, Athletic Director of St. Joseph’s College, Greenpoint Gazette Publisher Jeff Mann, and Krzysztof Matyszczyk, chairman of the Polish Slavic Credit Union all received commemorative plaques noting their years of dedicated service, before giving short speeches about the importance of the Boy Scouts and the volunteer work they do throughout the year.
