Death never looked so good!
Academy Award-winning actor Al Pacino was all smiles on Avenue U near Nostrand Avenue last week on the set of his new film “You Don’t Know Jack” -- a feature about the life and work of infamous assisted-suicide advocate Jack Kevorkian.
The star of “The Godfather” series, “Scent of a Woman” and “Heat” delved into the role, looking hauntingly like the notorious death dealer with his coiff of steel-grey hair and a bright red sweater. But the twinkle in Pacino’s eye was unmistakable as he waved to local residents during a break in filming.
The shoot took place all last week on Avenue U at the offices of Fillmore Real Estate’s main headquarters at Batchelder Street.
“You Don’t Know Jack,” which is based on a book by Neal Nicol, is being directed by Barry Levinson and also stars John Goodman and Susan Sarandon.
