Visitation Academy dedicates statue

Cheers and a pomp-filled ceremony added to the reverie when the faithful flocked to Bay Ridge to help dedicate a statue at Visitation Academy.

As sunlight bathed the 7.5 acres of monastery grounds, upon which the private all-girls school is located at 8902 Ridge Boulevard, students and teachers joined fellow parishioners and clergy to participate in a Mass of Celebration, followed by a dedication of the Statue of The Visitation in the Sacred Heart Chapel.
