Most Holy Trinity Church blesses nabe’s pets

The courtyard of Most Holy Trinity Church morphed into an outdoor altar, drawing pet lovers from across the neighborhood for the annual blessing of the animals.

The benediction in honor of the patron saint of critters, St. Francis of Assisi, drew spirituality-seekers to the house of worship, 138 Montrose Avenue, where Reverend Timothy Dore presided over the rites.

Dogs, cats, birds and other beastly lovables completed the furry and feathered flock.
