Halloween Walk and Fair

State Senator Marty Golden is hosting the 2009 Halloween Walk & Fair, October 31, beginning at 2 p.m., at Owl’s Head Park, 67th Street and Colonial Road in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn.

The 15th Annual event will feature, free of charge, the Haunted Walk, the Fairytale Forest, a pumpkin patch, a costume contest and much more. The event will also feature rides for the children, pony rides, face painting and “Dracula’s Food Court.”

This year, until October 29, there will be a limited opportunity to purchase VIP Passes for a small $5 donation, which will entitle one adult and up to four children to enter the Halloween Walk through the sponsors entrance.

Sponsor passes are available for purchase at the following locations: Boragi Florist, 7913 Third Avenue; Ahl Tone, 6749 Fifth Avenue; Toys Toys Toys, 8224 Third Avenue; What’s Next, 6922 Third Avenue; Havin’ A Party, 8414 Fifth Avenue; Kaleidoscope Toys, 8722 Third Avenue; Lavender Blue, 8702 Third Avenue, and B.R. Mail Station, 9728 Third Avenue.

The Halloween Walk & Fair is being held in conjunction with the SouthWest Brooklyn Parks Task Force, abd the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT1NYC).
