Michael Bloomberg began his third term as New York City mayor by accepting an accolade from the Congress of Italian-American Oragnizations (CIAO).
Hizzoner was hailed “Man of the Year” during the non-profit social service agency’s annual dinner dance at the Grand Prospect Hall, 263 Prospect Avenue.
Sharing the podium with Bloomberg was Linda Pullara, who received the Joseph Crisalli Award in memory of CIAO Founders Mary Crisalli Sansone and Zach Sansone.
Pullara is assistant to the executive director of CIAO, 5816 13th Avenue.
