Annual tree lighting in Sunset Park

It’s lights, carols - Christmas! The Sunset Park BID hosts their annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 3 from 3 to 6:30 p.m.

The twinkling comes alive in front of OLPH Basilica, 60th Street and 5th Avenue, Brooklyn,beginning at 3:30 p.m. Parents can take pictures of their childrenwith Santa in front of the 18 foot tree between 3 and 4 p.m. and then watch a magic show thanks to King Henry at 5 p.m. Between 4 and 6 p.m. live entertainment is on deck provided by the Brooklyn Chinese American Association, Youth Chorus,OLPH Children’s Choir, The St. Agatha’s School Children’s Choir, Grupo Cultural Sunset Park dancers and 1st and 2nd Graders from PS 506.

The first 300 children will get goody bags.
