Festival of Christmas Lessons and Carols at St. John

A Festival of Christmas Lessons and Carols is being offered December 13, 4 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 9818 Fort Hamilton Parkway.

Nine scriptural lessons will be read telling of the prophecy of Christ, his birth and the meaning of the Incarnation.

Traditional familiar Christmas carols will be sung by thecongregation and special music will be presented by Margee Shore-Dubin, The Willie Black, Jr. Family Choir, the St. John’s Choir, alto saxophonist Bill Powers, and organist and Music Director of St. John’s Julian Goodwin. Guest Officiant is the Rev. Howard Blunt.
