Noise nightmare

Noise nightmare

A 72-year-old woman’s complaints about a noisy neighbor were answered by the neighbor’s boyfriend, who jumped and choked the senior until she shut up.

The woman, a resident of 84th Street between Seventh and Tenth avenues, told police that after a particularly noisy night, she knocked on her neighbor’s door at 10 a.m. on February 28 to ask her to quiet down.

Her neighbor’s boyfriend answered the door and attacked her after a short exchange, cops were told. The boyfriend reportedly pushed the senior to the floor and choked her, leaving slight injuries.

Cops were looking for the male as this paper went to press.

Vacation grab

A return from a month-long vacation ended on a sour note for a Colonial Road woman last week.

The woman said that she returned to her home near 68th Street on February 25 to learn that someone had tampered with the lock to the front door.

When she stepped inside, she realized that all of her windows were unlocked and open.

A laptop computer and $500 were taken, officials said.

Home wrecker

Talk about spring cleaning! A 38-year-old man was arrested on the first day of March after he was accused of destroying a 70th Street apartment near Eighth Avenue.

Police allege that Jesse Roman broke the front door of the apartment off its hinges following an argument with the tenant at 9 p.m.

Once inside, Roman punched a hole in the wall and proceeded to damage two television screens, a lamp, a table and a set of chairs. Even picture frames were not spared from his wrath.

Responding officers took Roman into custody without incident, charging him with criminal trespass, criminal mischief, trespass and harassment.

Bonnie and Clyde in Ridge

Cops are looking for a Bonnie and Clyde crew responsible for mugging a woman on Fourth Avenue near 75th Street.

The victim told police that she was nearing the corner at 9:10 a.m. February 10 when the couple — a black woman in her mid-thirties and a white male — ran up to her.

“I have a gun,” the male suspect said as he stuck a sharp object in the woman’s back. In the end his “lady” did all the work — robbing their victim of her bag, gold chain and bracelet.

The two then split up, running off in separate directions.

Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

Calls can be made to the 68th Precinct at (718) 439-4211. All calls will be kept confidential.
