Check out The Air Festival

Brooklyn Arts Exchange (BAX) announces The Air Festival 2010, April 9-May 2 featuring Artists-In-Residence Luciana Achugar (dance), Abigail Browde (theater), Victoria Libertore (theater) and Jennie MaryTai Liu (dance).

Come for this final stage of development and witness the depth and excitement these artists have about their work and their process.

“Lands And Peoples” features Jennie MaryTai Liu in collaboration with Sean Donavan, April 9-10 at 8 p.m. and April 11 at 6 p.m. “Girl Meat” by Victoria Libertore will be performed April 23-24 at 8 p.m. and April 25 at 6 p.m. while “Thanks For Nothin” by Abigail Browde will be in the spotlight April 30-May 1 at 8 p.m. and May 2 at 6 p.m.

All performances are at BAX, 421 Fifth Avenue in Park Slope.

“Puro Deseo” by Luciana Achugar will be performed April 29-May 1 at 8 p.m. and May 2 at 5 p.m. at The Kitchen, 512 West 19th Street, in Manhattan.

Advance tickets are $12, $7 for low-income individuals; $15 and $8, respectively at the door.

Childcare will be available during Sunday’s shows at BAX. Childcare tickets must be purchased by 5 p.m. the Thursday before the show.
