Today’s news:

Hop to it!

Fancy-footed youngsters executed crowd-wowing moves during a two-day benefit jump-a-thon to fight heart disease at PS 197.

The nimble troupe drew rave reviews for transforming the gymnasium of the school — East 22nd Street, between Kings Highway and Avenue P — into a mini-Olympic arena as boys and girls alternated traditional rope-jumping with the more complex “Double Dutch” version, March 25-26.

Proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.
