Nicole Malliotakis, the assemblywoman whose shares her Bay Ridge district with a big portion of Staten Island, is going to be sharing her office as well.
The freshman legislator announced that she will open her neighborhood office inside state Sen. Marty Golden’s on Fifth Avenue between 74th Street and Bay Ridge Parkway.
The two republicans announced the move this week.
“I thank Senator Golden for opening his doors to me and for giving me the opportunity to be even more accessible to the people of Bay Ridge,” Malliotakis (R-Bay Ridge) said in a statement. “Now, Bay Ridge constituents can easily visit their two state legislators at one convenient location.”
Malliotakis’s main office is on the north shore of Staten Island, a neighboring borough.
Her predecessor, Assemblywoman Janele Hyer-Spencer (D-Bay Ridge), had a district office in Brooklyn — right down the block from Golden’s.
