Today’s news:

‘Egg’-heads come out for McKinley Park Easter festivities

It was an egg-cellent day during the annual Easter egg hunt at McKinley Park.

A rainy Saturday couldn’t keep children away from the list of fun activities planned for the big day such as face painting, arts and crafts and of course — the egg hunt!

The park was filled with excitement as children hopped around hunting for eggs and then racing to exchange them for prizes, the biggest of which were gift baskets made up of holiday goodies.

The event is a time-honored tradition for the Bay Ridge/Dyker Heights communities and one of the biggest Easter egg hunts in Brooklyn.
