An unhinged 24-year-old was arrested for murder after he stabbed his mother to death on May 4 — four days before Mother’s Day.
The suspect was arguing with his mother in the apartment they shared on St. Paul’s Place at 11 pm when he grabbed a knife and stabbed the 47-year-old woman repeatedly.
Cops called to the scene found the dead woman, as well as the son, who sources described as bipolar.
A 30-year-old woman was arrested on May 8 after she splattered her boyfriend with sulfuric acid — leaving her love with serious burns.
Police said the woman was also injured when she, too, was hit with the acid. The couple suffered second- and third-degree burns during the 5:30 pm fight in the couple’s Rogers Avenue apartment near Foster Avenue, according to the New York Post.
The woman’s boyfriend told police that he was lying in bed when the woman upended the bottle of acid over him.
She was hit with the acid as the two fought over the bottle.
Both were taken to an area hospital for treatment. After a short investigation, cops charged the 30-year-old woman with assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
Two punks worked together to rob a 46-year-old man on Avenue I on May 7.
The victim was approaching E. 39th Street at 12:30 pm when the suspects grabbed him.
One of the thugs put the victim in a chokehold while the other flashed a knife and rifled through the man’s pockets, police were told.
A thief entering an E. 55th Street home checked to see if anyone was home by ringing the doorbell — but still found herself coming face-to-face with the homeowner during the May 5 break-in.
The 29-year-old suspect — a woman — forced the front door at about 2:37 pm, only to turn around and run off once she realized someone was inside.
Beaten and robbed
A dastardly duo jumped a 23-year-old man onAvenue I on May 2, taking $450 and an assortment of jewelry.
The victim was nearing E. 46th Street at 10:45 pm when the suspects grabbed him, punched him in the mouth, and took his belongings.
A thug shot and killed a 23-year-old man on Linden Boulevard on April 30.
Witnesses of the attack, which happened near Bedford Avenue, called police at 11 pm. When officers arrived, the victim, who had not been named by late Tuesday, was found shot in the torso.
Paramedics rushed the young man to Kings County Hospital, where he died of his wounds.

A gunman opened fire on three people on Rockaway Parkway in East Flatbush on April 25.
The victims — all males between 20 and 24 — were approaching Clarkson Avenue at 3:50 pm when the gunman opened fire, hitting all three.
A 24-year-old was shot in the leg, officials said. A 23-year-old was hit in the arm, while the 20-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks.
The trio was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where they were treated and released.
