Keep your misogyny to yourself, Rush Limbaugh

Brooklyn Daily

Nothing gets my knickers in a bunch more than stupid people, except, of course, someone that is stupid — and a misogynist.

So this week’s column is dedicated to the stupidity of one Rush Limbaugh, the portly purveyor of pusillanimous pulp who took the misogyny and stupidity to its lowest level when he called law student and activist Sandra Fluke — OK, kids, put on those earmuffs — a slut.

It’s never been my practice to rail against fellow columnists. After all we are entitled to our opinions, and there is that little matter of freedom of speech. However, there are times when even columnists take their right of freedom of speech to all time lows, and that is what Rush did this time.

In his barrage, he asked, “What does it say about the college co-ed Sandra Fluke, who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex? What does that make her?”

And then he answered himself in the only way Rush could.

“It makes her a slut, right?” he said. “It makes her a prostitute.”

Where does this flatulent-filled gabmeister come off calling Fluke, or anyone other woman, a slut just because she demands contraception be covered by insurance? I don’t hear him complaining about how insurance companies pick up the tab for Viagra and Cialis for men. Or, for that matter, the amount of money drug companies pay to advertise it on TV.

In fact, not an hour goes by that an ad for the erectile dysfunction miracle pill isn’t blasted over the airwaves.

But I digress.

He further lambasted Fluke, and added, “To the rest of you Feminazis, here’s the deal. If we are going to pay for your contraceptives and thus pay for you to have sex. We want something for it. We want you to post the videos online so we can all watch.”

How dare he. His commentary was reprehensible, disgraceful, perverse, vile, and flat out vulgar.

Sandra Fluke has every right to testify before Congress. In fact she is infinitely more capable to testify on the subject than any man could ever hope to be — and without her morality called into question by the likes of Rush.

And although Rush has since caved into the tsunami like outcry and apologized to Fluke, it does not negate the all out pervasive attitude in this country that a woman’s sexual choices are up for judgment — especially in this rabidly obsessed politically correct atmosphere, that allowed him to make this disparaging remark from the get go.

Further, I don’t want to wallow in the same swill pit as Rush, but since authorities found a bottle of Viagra in his suitcase that had been prescribed to someone else and insurance covers the drug — aren’t we paying for Rush to have sex?

Not for Nuthin, people that live in glass radio stations shouldn’t be throwing stones. Shame on you, Rush.

News Alert: Rush Limbaugh has been a Ho for the Bush Crime Family and beloved of Ditto-heads everywhere.

Yes I’m up early every morning taking care of my retarded cousin Billy Boy. He likes to watch FOX & Friends because it makes him feel smart… He winds down after Rush Limbaugh on the radio and takes a nap. Billy Boy wakes up happy & refreshed before dinner time to tell me fantastic stories about a quest for he and his mentally deficient cult to defeat the evil sorcerer Bak Obam and save the world!

I’m joking right, jinnbad.blogspot.com

We really must get rid of the GOP in the next few election cycles. Republicans/Conservatives are making Americans look bad in the eyes of the rest of the world. Go to any foreign nation to ask the locals and you’ll hear questions about how the USA allowed it’s people to get so stupid as to have voted for George W. Bush and Sarah Palin. The right-wing is going to go down in history as the biggest sucker fools EVER!

Instant Karma! Actually Americans are more than ready to go to the streets to get the silver spoon, trust fund baby Aristocrats and their Ho‘s like Limbaugh. WAR is such good practice. 100,000 of young concerned citizens trained to kill evil doers.

I think Obama/Biden has used the Bush/Cheney wars as the worlds greatest government run jobs program because they know the Republicans won’t vote for ANYTHING else that might help America make a comeback during Democratic rule…
Just because there’s almost 50 MILLION Americans struggling below the poverty level… Damn socialism, right?

By the way, who won the Oscar’s?

Rush is a bloated, babbling blob of protoplasm, best ignored.

BTW, Joanna, find the mistake in this line:

"I don’t here him complaining about how insurance companies pick up the tab for Viagra and Cialis for men."

Time for a remedial English course? Hm?

A woman's choice to have sex and not be judged for it, is exactly that a choice. Should she want to prevent an unwanted pregnancy, it is also a choice. That being said, if the insurance companies are going to cover the erectile dysfunction medicines for men who choose to want to have sex, then they should absolutely cover birth control medicines for women, who choose not to have children while still enjoying sex. It is sexist and ignorant to provide for one and not the other!!

I think most people responding to Rush Limbaugh's rant is missing a vital point. Typical left wing conservative extremists behave the way Mr. Limbaugh did. If they don't agree with your point of view, attack you personally. Stand on high moral ground, as they put it, and verbally destroy anyone who doesn't share their opinion. Apparently they don't comprehend what the word moral means. There is one difference between Rush Limbaugh and most conservative extremists and that's $40 million a year pay.
