Vicious attack

A 32-year-old man was arrested for beating a woman on Cropsey Avenue on June 25.

The victim told police that she was between Bay 47th Street and 28th Avenue at 6:10 pm when the suspect grabbed her by the waist, punched her in the head — twice — and yanked on her hair.

Lethal Leatherman

Police arrested a 44-year-old man who they said threatened another man at knife-point on Surf Avenue on July 7.

The victim told police that he was between W. 15th and W. 16th avenues at 10:45 pm when the suspect approached and drew a silver Leatherman-brand knife.

“I’m going to cut you,” he snarled, according to court documents.

Robbery fail

A 47-year-old man beat — and attempted to rob — a woman on W. 21st Street on July 8, police said.

The victim was between Mermaid and Surf avenues at 2:33 am when the man began scratching her neck, punching her, and pulling her hair in an attempt to take her property, said officials. Police arrested a suspect shortly after.
