Today’s news:

Anthony Weiner's political chances

Should Weiner run for office again? Let us know what you think

Brooklyn Daily

Disgraced sexting Rep. Anthony Weiner has been back in the news, telling People magazine that he’s happy being Mr. Mom to his six-month-old son Jordan even though he’s sitting on nearly $4.5 million in campaign contributions for the mayoral run he was forced to abandon when he was literally caught with his pants down.

Weiner resigned from office last June, claiming that he wanted to focus on repairing his relationship with wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, but political insiders who lovingly call Weiner the “Midwood Mouth” for his famed tirades against the GOP agenda say he’s primed and ready for a comeback.

That said, would you vote for Weiner if he ran for office again?

Let us know, dear readers! Please leave your thoughts in the comments section.

jerry from brighton beach says:
Weiner is very lucky that the Feds or Congress didn't probe illegal activities that he did in the congresional locker rooms or his congressional office.
If I were him I wouldn't push for any elected office. He'll have to use up his Campiagn warchest for lawyers ,just like former State Senator, Carl " Crook" Kruger has done.

Chris from Park Slope says:
If Ted Kennedy can bounce back after Chappaquiddick, Weiner can bounce back after a couple of pervy photos.

I wouldn't vote for him for NYC mayor, but he was an extremely effective legislator and could have a long successful career in Congress.

I wouldn't want him elected again. Let someone else do the job. He was in way too long. Your vote doesn't count,we buy elections and we allow it.

Shaun from Marine Park says:
That piece of garbage lied when caught. Anyone who would even think of voting for him deserves the sad state of our elected officials. He is no better than Bloomberg, Fidler or Kruger. The big advocate for the healthcare plan that is going to put this country in a worse situation that were already in. I remember being at a MPCAA meeting where one of his aids giggled when questioned about the cost of the bill. PIECE OF TRASH HE IS!!!!

Jane from Mill Basin says:
Yeah, he lied. BUT, his wife has forgiven him so I would have no problem voting for him again. He was effective.

He deserves and needs a second chance.

bill huston says:
I KNOW IF THE VOTERS GIVE HIM A SECOND CHANCE
HE WILL SHOW UP AND DO A BETTER JOB THEN ANYONE THATS IN OFFICE TODAY.
