Brooklyn Cyclones Use Twitter to Say Goodbye to Teammates, Brooklyn

2012 Mini-Mets tweet about baseball, buddies, and how Brooklyn smells

Brooklyn Daily

After suffering Monday’s spirit-crushing playoff loss to the Hudson Valley Renegades, Brooklyn’s boys of summer packed up their bags and headed back to their distant homes. But some teammates — being tech-savvy Generation Yers after all — couldn’t part the People’s Playground without tweeting a few heartfelt, and not so heartfelt, goodbyes to their team, MCU Park, and their fans.

Crusher from Bensonhurst says:
I knew this team didn't have what it took to win a championship! NO GUTS! After a disgusting loss by Mr. Wheeler in Staten Island, I gave up on them and showed up a handful of times which includes no playoffs! I knew this team was gutless! For Mr. Wheeler, be happy you got pb&j sandwiches because you'll be lucky to have a job next year. For Mr. Clark, I think you smell worse than BK, underachiever! You did nothing for 2 years here! So you shouldn't talk smack about BK!
