Machete maniac

A 21-year-old man was arrested on attempted murder charges after he allegedly stabbed a man with a machete on Coney Island Avenue on Nov. 17.

The victim told police that he was between Avenues O and P at 4:36 am when the suspect stabbed him in the gut with the sharpened, brush-clearing tool.

The victim suffered severed intestines and a perforated colon among other injuries during the assault, cops said.

Cosmetic crook

Police arrested a 22-year-old man who they say shoplifted goods from a Beverley Road retailer on Nov. 24.

An employee told police that he was working inside the store between E. 22nd and E. 23rd streets at 1:25 pm when he noticed the suspect slip clothing, perfume, and other cosmetics into a bag, and attempt to leave without paying.

Before the suspect could abscond with his ill-begotten goods, he was stopped by security, who found his bag stuffed with $1,151 worth of stolen merchandise, cops said.

Beating on Bedford

A 60-year-old man was arrested for beating a woman on Bedford Avenue on Nov. 21.

The victim told police that she was between Clarkson Avenue and Lenox Road at 4 pm when the suspect pushed her to the ground and began wailing on her hand and chest.

Laundry lowlife

Police arrested a 51-year-old woman who they say beat and robbed another woman inside an Ocean Avenue laundry mat on Nov. 20, taking — what else — her laundry.

The victim told police that she was inside the business near Woodruff Avenue at 2 pm when the suspect punched her in the face and took her laundry cart full of clothes and fled.
