Broomstick beatdown

Police arrested a suspect who they say assaulted an E. 26th Street homeowner with a broomstick outside of the house on Dec. 29.

The vicitm told police that he was outside his home between Avenues T and U at 11:45 am when the suspect charged at him with the broom handle, bashing him on the face and shoulder.

Hurt locker

A suspect was arrested for robbing a man on E. 15th Street on Dec. 26, taking his cellphone and $200.

The victim told police that he was near Kings Highway at 10:09 pm when the suspect clocked him in the face and embraced him in a headlock, before rummaging through his pockets and snagging the victim’s valuables.
